Chapter One:
It’s amazing how two things so different from one another can happen at once. This was what was happening right at this moment. While innocent lives were being torn apart in the digital world a new life was being born in the real world. You have all heard the story of the Digidestined. How they saved the world? Two digimon our digimon of hope and light Patamon and Gatomon fell in love and had the blessing of a family. It was not long after Patamon and Gatomon getting together that Gatomon fell pregnant and today had given birth to a beautiful baby Salamon who looked like a normal Salamon except it was orange like its father and much younger.
“Let’s call her Sally Gato kun.” Patamon said wrapping his wings around Gatomon as they looked at their baby.
“Sally I like it Pata kun.” Gatomon said softly nuzzling up against him she was so lucky to find a mon like him. Patamon kissed her softly before letting the other Digidestined in who had gone out to give Patamon and Gatomon some privacy.
“Wow she’s beautiful Gatomon!” Kari cried happily and Gatomon smiled happy as everyone congratulated her and Patamon she was so happy she had her own family now and a partner she loved like a sister.
“So what did you name her?” Yolie said smiling as she dragged her boyfriend Davis along. Kari giggled at her best friend’s antics. It was surprising those two had gotten together especially since they always used to fight but love does strange things sometimes.
“We named her Sally since she is a Salamon even if she is orange.” Gatomon said giggling a little as well watching Davis and Yolie. TK moved over to Patamon and hugged his best friend.
“Are you happy buddy?” TK asked gently smiling down at his best friend.
“Of course I’m happy TK. I have the love of a beautiful digimon my own daughter and a lovely family.” Patamon said gesturing to all the Digidestined you could tell the orange digimon was absolutely delighted to be starting a family of his own.
“Now not to be the blunt one or anything but we need to go to the digital world.” Marissa said standing with her digimon Mikemon besides her. Mikemon glanced over at Veemon shyly she still hadn’t told him how she felt about him she was too shy in fact the only digimon who had gotten together so far were Patamon and Gatomon. Marissa and Mikemon had been one of the original Digidestined but had joined the team the same time as Kari had. Marissa was currently dating Matt and had the crest of honesty though as Mikemon sometimes suggested as a joke that Marissa should have the crest of stubbornness because she was very strong willed and had a hard head.
“Your always the blunt one Marissa.” Mikemon said giggling slightly then adding “Don’t you agree Veemon?” blushing as she looked at her blue dragon friend who smiled and nodded. The truth was Veemon has a crush on Mikemon for awhile but they were quite close friends and he didn’t want to ruin that.
“Of course but that’s what we like about her.” Veemon replied laughing and Mikemon giggled slightly and soon the whole room was laughing. Marissa pretended to pout but was otherwise smiling.
“Though Marissa is right the digital world needs us and we promised Gennai we’d go there as soon as the baby was born.” Gatomon said softly looking at Kari before adding “But either Pata or I should stay back with Sally.” Gatomon didn’t want to leave her baby alone she was too young and was glad when Patamon spoke up.
“I’ll stay back with Sally but TK you stay as well its not safe for you to go to the digital world like that I don’t want you getting hurt.” Patamon said softly and TK was about to protest when Kari moved over hugging him gently.
“Patamon’s right TK, please stay here with him and Sally. I don’t want to lose you.” Kari said softly looking into TK’s eyes her own eyes shining with worry for TK. TK and Kari had started dating a month ago and were closer than ever. Davis had been a little heartbroken at first but was helped to heal by someone he least expected Yolie she had been there for him the most during the time he was heartbroken over Kari she made him realize that Kari wasn’t the only one who cared about him that he should move on which led to Davis seeing Yolie in a different light. TK sighed a little then smiled at both Patamon and Kari.
“All right I’ll stay take care of Kari okay Gatomon?” TK said looking down at the feline digimon who nodded smiling.
“Of course TK I would never let anything happen to my sister.” Gatomon said sincerely it was true Kari really was like a sister to Gatomon and vice versa. Gatomon moved over hugging Patamon and the two kissed deeply before Gatomon hugged Sally as well.
“Take care my baby girl I love you.” Gatomon said kissing the top of Sally’s head before they left for the digital world. Kari groaned as she landed hard on the ground. Her brother Tai helped her up. Kari let out a gasp at the condition of the digital world and shivered.
“There’s so much darkness in this place I can feel it. It wasn’t even like this when Myotismon or the Dark Masters took over what could be causing it?” Kari said more so to herself than anyone else. Yolie shivered slightly and her face showed fear Davis wrapped an arm around her and she leaned into him burying her head in his shoulder unable to see the digital world like this.
“What could it be Matt?” Marissa asked picking up Mikemon exchanging a worried glance with her digimon it worried them both on what could be causing this.
“Whatever it is its strong the darkness is radiating from everywhere let’s go we need to find this enemy and see what it wants we may need all of us to defeat this enemy.” Matt said clenching his fists he just hoped Gabumon and the others were okay while the younger Digidestined and Marissa had their digimon with them the older Digidestined minus Marissa didn’t their digimon were scattered somewhere throughout the digital world and Matt just hoped they were okay.

you'll get used to it guys I think you have guessed some couples already such as Takari, Daiyako, Matt/Marissa and PataGato. There will be more than just those couples obviously Veemon/Mikemon will be another one. Anyway this is my first fanfic ever frankly because Im a perfectionist and it took me this long to get one up ]
